Sunjeeve worked as a Transaction Manager for The First National Bank of Chicago, now JP Morgan Chase Bank. The Bank of New York followed, where he became known for his expertise on tender and exchange offers in addition to trustee work.

At BoNY, Sunjeeve worked on the largest restructurings in recent years, including NTL Communications Corp., Swiss Air Group, and Jazztel plc.

Prior to Lucid, he was the Managing Director of the London office of a New York based firm working exclusively on restructurings including Drax Holdings Limited, Energis plc, Marconi plc, APP China Group Limited and EM.TV Merchandising AG.
